As a guide, Living Free Counseling, provides a 3-phase plan.
Phase 1
Establish relationship and rapport, empower the client to define the problem and set goals. (1-3 Sessions)
Phase 2
Help clients develop a treatment plan, process and work through presenting issues. (4-12 Sessions)
Phase 3
Once treatment goals are reached, gradually phasing out of counseling. (13-16 sessions)
